UK's largest motorbike festival returns to East of England Arena
The Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling, May 18-19, 2019, the largest outdoor bike show in the UK, is returning to the East of England Arena for a weekend of camping, racing, test rides, stunt shows and festival fun.
The festival attracts tens of thousands of motorbike enthusiasts from across the UK, and is famous for its test rides. The festival boasts the biggest test bike fleet in Europe, with hundreds of test ride slots available. Visitors can simply bring their helmet and licence to book test rides on the very latest motorcycles from all the leading manufacturers. “We are delighted to be able to announce that we now have a three year agreement in place to host the Devitt MCN Festival of Motorcycling for 2019, 2020 and 2021,” commented venue director, Jason Lunn.
This year, in addition to the usual attractions of jaw-dropping stunt displays, acres of motorbike accessory and lifestyle outlets, speakers and celebrity appearances, there will be a full two day round of oval racing at our oval track and grandstand, including junior classes and the popular 'hooligan' class. Visitors will also get a taste of the extra special DirtQuake atmosphere with a ‘DirtQuake Showdown, pre-event special’ which involves five races per day, combining all the classes you’ll see at the 2019 DirtQuake event. Plus six time British Superbike champ Shakey Byrne will be in attendance signing autographs and being interviewed on stage.
Many visitors will be camping on-site, in true festival style, and the event includes live music and late bar to complete the festival experience.
