Mick George renews sponsorship agreement for third year running
We are delighted to announce that Mick George Ltd has renewed its sponsorship package with the East of England Arena and Events Centre for the third year running.
The agreement represents a significant investment in the venue, funds that we will put towards our facilities enhancement programme.
This will make our venue a more attractive proposition to external event organisers and promoters, which bring high profile names to the city. This is fantastic news for the local community.
Our commercial manger Ian Strange commented: “We hosted comedian Billy Connelly last year and recently the world-renowned physicist, Brian Cox, staged one of his epic live performances at the arena.
“Exciting acts such as these draw people in from outside the local area, boosting the city’s business economy. We also have returning shows such as ‘The Carole Nash MCN Festival of Motorcycling’, our very own ‘Just Dogs Live’ and lots more; there really is something for everyone in our packed events schedule.
“We are delighted to continue our association with Mick George Ltd because it is one of the region’s fastest growing companies and a big success story. It is a hugely positive brand, which, like ourselves, values the importance of being an integral part of the regional community it operates in.”
The new sponsorship deal means Mick George retains its status as our headline sponsor.
“We first became a sponsor in 2015 and since then have developed a fantastic relationship that continues to grow in strength,” said Stuart Costello, Mick George’s head of marketing. “Across the venue our branding is highly visible, which has raised our business profile significantly, not withstanding the various facility management provisions that we are now engaged with on-site.”
He continued: “One of Peterborough’s most versatile indoor and outdoor facilities, the East of England Arena and Events Centre hosts a diverse range of exhibitions, entertainment and corporate occasions. We are delighted to renew our partnership and are proud of our association with the venue and its staff.”
