East of England Autofest to go ahead

No Limits Events & Promotions has confirmed that the East of England Autofest, including Modified Nationals and the National Custom, Hot Rod and American Car Show, will be going ahead at the East of England Arena and events centre, 3-4 July 2021 with a full line up of live automotive action.

Jason Lunn, venue director at the East of England Arena and Events Centre, commented, “It is immensely satisfying to see live events opening at the venue and across the country, in spite of the delay to Step Four of the lockdown release strategy. We were careful to ensure that Autofest was developed under Step Three regulations and has been unaffected by the announcement. East of England Autofest is making great use of the mixture of facilities we have to offer and this show will be a great attraction for anyone who loves modified vehicles.”

Mark Needham of organiser No Limits, said, “We’re back! Everyone has been desperate to get out and enjoy the thrill of a live-action show and we are certainly going to deliver that. We are planning to use most of the space at the East of England Arena, the mix of indoor and outdoor space, internal roadways and hard standing means we can deliver a wide variety of entertainment for everyone.” he added.

The event will include live drifting demonstrations in the Live Action Arena created by No Limits for this event, the Super Bike Stunt Show Arena, the Bike Battle Stunt Show, American monster truck rides, two halls of show cars, outdoor car displays, a remote control drift car track, trade stands, American lowrider cars and a Wall of Death. Alongside all this, the organisers will have two live entertainment stages running simultaneously. On-site camping is being included using the venue’s permanent toilet and shower blocks, water distribution and electrical hook up.

No Limits Events & Promotions, and the East of England Arena & Events Centre, have said that it may be necessary to change parts of the show to comply with changes in local or national Covid-19 guidelines.
