Duke of Gloucester visits Floodex at the East of England Arena and Events Centre

Floodex, the two-day conference and exhibition, was visited by the His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester, KG, GCVO on 17th May 2017 when it opened, for the second consecutive year.

Once again, the event looks to be delivering on the expectations of both organiser and exhibitors alike, as event director Jon Irwin commented, “The feedback from the exhibitors is very good, they are engaging with visitors of the right calibre and the seminars, which are free to attend, can be counted as part of the attendees CPD. The number of seminars enables visitors to select the most appropriate content and then to engage with suppliers that may have services of interest to them.”

Focused on flood prevention, resilience and management, Floodex has a full two-day programme of seminars, supported by service suppliers in the accompanying exhibition.

East of England Arena and Events Centre’s business development manager, Dean Rees said, “We are delighted to welcome Floodex back to the venue for the second year, this show is ideal for us, as it has the ideal mix of conference and exhibition content that makes full use of our venue’s facilities.”

“The venue is well placed for a show like Floodex as the East Coast of the UK is a primary market for the flood prevention industry and the East of England Arena is situated on all Eastern transport routes from the North and South, as well as having good connections to London,” added Irwin.
